Damuthca nodded, a slight twitch of embarassment crossing his face. He truly should have told her, yet he couldn't. It was hard admitting to her he enjoyed her presence, as hard as it was to admit of his fears of late. He slowly stood up and took her hand gently within his own, his hand covered in callouses and scars from countless battles as he knelt.
" Forgive me M'lady, I should have asked you tis true? " He smirked, playfully almost as he stood up again. The entire thing was part jest, part serious. His ebon locks shadowing his face as he only stared in her eyes for what seemed like an eternity.
For a moment it seemed only they two existed, and all well fell within oblivion. He barely leaned a bit closer, mere inches between them. However the romantic moment was ruined as his left pointed ear twitched.
Falling into a crouch suddenly, his hand falling on the handle of his sword as he loosened it from its sheath, ready to draw it lightning fast as he sought to discover what alerted him.
The temple was quiet, muttered prayers seemed to echo just barely audible thru the corridors, the stone seemingly vibrating the eerie chants of the Goddess. Nothing seemed out of place.
My nerves I guess, he thought as he was about to slowly stand up and apologize to Tyrsis as the very mural infront of him split neatly, perfectly in half, and opened wide. Light blazing from the opening as the sword came out instantly into his hands, moving to stand protectingly infront of Tyrsis.
From that brilliance, came a shrouded Forgotten, the cowl hiding his face. His skin pure alabaster as he simply stood there, the door behide him closing as Damuthca's and Tyrsis's eyes finally adjusted back to the normal lightning.
His large black wings slowly stretching outwards, a huge scrollcase tied to his back as he simply stared at the two with fiery hellish eyes, some inner light shining from within the two orbs as they gazed emotionlessly in Damuthca's.
Damuthca only stared, this was his fear, his paranoia , manifested. The nightmares, the dreams, the sweat going down his brow, it was all a warning he realized, for whatever is about to occur. Gripping the blade a bit tighter, his eyes glancing to Tyrsis, finding strength in knowing he had unfinished business with her, business he intends to finish.
Damuthca's eyes darted and noted a Escalvone blade on the young man's hip, if a man he was , he could hardly tell any feature about whomever stood before him.
" Who are you? You carry the blade of an Escalvone, but none among my people have such wings. If your not an Escalvone warrior, you are trespassing upon sacred holy ground..." He stared, about to let the strange figure explain himself as the strange fear returned, two fold it seemed as a light smile was visible from beneath the cowl.
Slowly removing the hood, revealing a familiar face, his dark auburn red hair hanging down just a trifle above his eyes as he let the two fully see his face. His entire garb, mostly blacks and very dark pastel reds, seemed to give him the very dark atmosphere.
" I am Kenji. " The boy said, devoid of life it seemed as his voice echoed thruout the temple, as he simply stood there, as if awaiting for the two to move out of his way. As the two didn't move away immediately after he announced himself, he slowly closed his eyes and seemed to sigh in annoyance.
Dark tendrils seemed to wrap themselves around his arms, leaving himself ebon as they caressed his face and covered it. True demonic energy cascading across his form in waves of energy that could only be visible by the slight alternation of the air around him, the slight pulse.
" Move, Escalvonians....."
OOC - There will be no more posts after this by myself until Marijke is back up to speed as her comp is exploded. Sorry, but the plot will have to wait a bit, you may respond to this, and continue posts as usual, but I shall not respond to anything directly until then. Sorry, blame mari not me!
