Zenra's voice was far more calm and Cyrus'. The boy still had a lot of growing up to do, since by all means in Forgotten terms he was still just a baby. She sighed, wondering what the point of this was. Forbiddion was gone, Emi was dead, as was her role as the heir to that terrible power. She was no more than a ghost.

"The girl in those images is dead, has been for eleven years. What do you think you're going to accomplish by kidnapping someone who knows absolutely nothing about that past?"

Her hand squeezed Cyrus' shoulder lightly, subtly betraying an inward fear of these people. She had no idea what this was all about, or what they were getting into, but she wasn't about to let these strangers take her daughter for reasons unknown to her.
