Johan nodded and stood, then cracked his back before walking into the kitchen, and rummaging around in the pantry, which Myuler had a cooling spell on.

He took out a tomato, a cured roast, a head of lettuce, and a loaf of what just happened to be his own homeage rye bread, though the last time Johan had given such bread to Myuler had been months ago, he knew it was good... Myuler knew how to preserve food with that magic, too.

A knife from the drawer twirled in his hand with practiced ease, and the tomato fell into thin slices before he turned the knife on the roast, then, wiping it with a cloth, turned it on the bread.

Breaking apart the mixture, he placed the meat, tomato, and lettuce on the slices of bread before hunting around for a block of cheese, slicing off a few pieces of that to place on the samwhich.

Then, remarkably, he placed it all back in the pantry, noting not for the first time that only about half that quantity of food should fit there, yet there was far more than just what he had taken out in there.

Then, he came back, with about six samwhiches on a plate, and handed the whole thing to Lashana, "Eat up," he said.
