Aphrodite had dispatched the Ith'Dakar and Tyrsis' hesitation in one swift blow. The new mother would have no trouble protecting her offspring.

"If you need to eat more, I will watch over them until you return. After that I need to go though." Her words were spoken softly, the way that most of her sentences were now. Soft and unobtrusive, general's tone only used when obedience was demanded in Escalvone. She had refused any title that Damuthca had attempted to give her, and it had calmed the youth. "Go ahead."

She pulled one of the squirming younglings back to its siblings, allowing Aphrodite to return the formerly endangered on her own time. Likely she would want to know that it had not been harmed. Tyrsis would not interfere.
