From below the ground there came a rumbling. Then, a crumbling. And Cyrus burst out of the ground as the dwarven tunnel opened up, hurtling upwards almost fifteen feet in an unbelievable vertical jump (that seemed to be very much bending the laws of gravity, since he wasn't flapping his wings.)
"Whew!" he yelled, somehow still full of energy after working in the mines for four hours, he suddenly turned into a blur of green and chrome, as he began to run. Directly past Tryst, and heading for the human. Then past the human.
And then, he came to a halt, and bounced backwards on one foot three times, placing him directly in front of the human and the forgotten, eyes wide.
"Errr... no wings, round ears.... uh.... wow, humans aren't extinct afterall. Cool," he said, shrugged, and then turned into a blur again, covering ground in a way that caused several people to lose their pages in books as he accelerated, pulled hanging streetlamps towards him, and finally, closed the lid on a merchant's money chest, while his hands were in it, eliciting a loud yell of pain from the man.
And then Cyrus tried to go into Myuler's house at this speed... and then, there was a bright light, a "PING!" noise, and Cyrus flew backwards, crashing into a wall across the street.
"OW!!!" he said, and muttered, rubbing the bump on the back of his head before walking into Myuler's house, then pointing at Myuler, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU PUT THAT THING UP!?!?!"
