"They're gone, majesty."

The wyrd looked down as Zenra turned her attention to her.

"Father was..was taken. Emi was slain in Hogoromo, by shadows. Father was going to take care of it, but...things....started happening. Too many things."

The young wyrd looked around, then brought her eyes back to Zenra, who was now looking depressed once more.

"Had we been able to do something, we would have."

But now Wyrd was gone.

"But now...Father is gone."

The young wyrd dropped her head again, and looked almost ashamed of speaking up.

With a long sigh, Zenra got to her feet, picking lil Emi up with her, and cradled the nearly asleep child on her hip and shoulder, and went into the temple without a word.

She needed time to think.
