Misty had left Tiani after they'd been told that Emillia had recinded her order about exiling all nonforgottens, wandering through the castle alone. She was known in the palace as a friend of Lashana and Johan as well as the friend of Talen.....who's father was Dias. Finding a room that was empty she stood staring out the window, watching as the last of the DragonLords left Hogoromo, trailing behind them those that had chosen to leave rather than remain here and sighed. She recognized Raaine and felt a stab of sorrow, if she was leaving it was because she no longer felt safe here, no longer felt that the one in power could be trusted. Undoubtedly that's how everyone felt now.... betrayed and afraid. Emillia had done what the human's army hadn't been able to do.... she'd divided her people into fragments.

Misty didn't know how long she'd stood at the window, long enough for the night to grow cool and for stars to begin to shine from above. She kept staring after the column of people, a column that had long since passed out of sight when she felt it. A sharp stab of pain, not hers but someone she called friend. Even through her shielding she felt Emillia die, which meant she was close. Tears trickled down Misty's cheeks, shattering into fragments as they struck the ground. The soft tinkling of shattering crystal was the only sound that Misty made as she wept for the loss of a friend.
