The guardsman who came to Raaine's door knocked most hesitantly, half afraid that Raaine would stick a blade in him before he could give her the message. When the door finally opened the guardsman swallowed sharply. Raaine had a slim bladed sword in one hand.....and a loaded and drawn crossbow in her other. The crossbow was trained on the guardsman and he held up his hands to show they were empty.

"What. Do. You. Want?"

Raaine spoke each word clearly, voice colder than ice and watched the guardsman swallow again before stammering out an answer.

"I-I-I was sent to-to-to-to tell you that um....... Lady Emillia has uh r-r-recinded her or-or-order concerning nonforgottens. If you uh.... um have any taking refuge in your house it's okay now."

Raaine nodded and stepped back into her house, slamming her door in the poor guardsman's face. She was still furious and it would take a bit longer before she'd believe that Emillia had recinded her order. For all Raaine knew it was merely a ploy to get the other nonforgottens out into the open.
