The dust swirled, where the strange attacks caused orderly objects, possessions to turn to dust and rubble. What remained typhooned, dancing. As if it detested it's new freedom.
Or perhaps...flaunting that new freedom.
Kami blinked, his silver eyes misting up somewhat as the tears attacked that dust, blowing long strands of silver hair about his face as a winged figure seemed to step from those shadows to block his light. This one was much taller, gentle white wings with azure highlights, each one glinting in Forgotten fashion.
Raising his arm to shield his, he sought to stand up..
Eyes narrowed, even as the elf's legs buckled as he remained upon his knees, the very air seeming to stretch for a small minute amount of time.
Kami's eyes narrowed, suspicious as his eyes finally locked upon the others, a brief exchange of empathy going between them like a invisible bolt.
" If I refuse...? " He said gently, even as his form shimmered with a shadowy blue, the ocean at midnight as Tiani was also covered in the harmless hues as Kami scooped up Tiani and seemed to fade away into that very light that covered the two, both elf and Forgotten.
Letting his silver eyes rest the entire time on the form as he watched her smirking eyes as she too faded from view.
The blue slowly went to the ethers, strand by strand slowly unraveling itself as Kami looked out, a short distance from Hogoromo. It was night, with the full moon dazzling the sky with its radiance as Kami slowly muttered a prayer to himself, and started to head toward the city to find treatment for Tiani.
And to find answers.
Only the rustling of feathers to mock..and comfort...him.
