She smiled when she felt Vell's arm slip around her waist. It was a comforting presence and she felt better at the light contact.

"Actually if I could remove the poison sacs the other healers and I could create a counter toxin. All you'd have to do is yank the fangs out. They're probably hollow for easier delivery. Think you two can do a hold and yank while I remove the poison sacs and seal that hole beneath his tongue so he can't spit?"
