A green haired head came up in shock, violet eyes wide at the shrilling of the Weave. Seraph's action had torn a hole in natural order of the planet, ripping the water from it's normal cycle and it's repercussions would be felt elsewhere for a long time to come. If the world was lucky Seraph's actions wouldn't turn fertile land into a wasteland. Lashana didn't know who had done such an act and in truth she didn't give a damn who dared to do such a thing, all she cared about was how it was going to be fixed..... if it could be fixed.

"Darke I know I shouldn't let this eat at me this way, but being helpless to stop something isn't an easy thing to bear. I was helpless before and survived it. I'll survive this too."

Valenthe gazed out of her window at the scenery outside before turning her attention back to Darke.

"Do you.... do you regret leaving Aurora Darke? I mean, if I could have returned would you have wanted to stay there?"

She didn't mention that even if returning had been possible she wouldn't have survived long. Aurora wasn't her world and the sources that sustained her were absent there. It had been like being bound and blindfolded in a room where the oxygen was running low. She'd been struggling to survive there and when she'd passed through the barrier it had been like someone opening the door to let in fresh air, the bonds holding her dissolving. It had felt wonderful..... until she'd realized that Darke hadn't been able to follow her. Coppery eyes gazed at him curiously, wondering how he'd felt while on Aurora with her.... and how it felt when he'd arrived back on Terra.
