Most of mankind had rushed towards battle, heeding the cry of a great leader and general with a righteous cause. Whirlwinds of death and despair ravaged their ranks, tearing men and women apart, did they dare to touch the feild. Their world become fire and brimstone, only a handful escaped the claws of Wyrd and the sword of the karyuudo.

Arrows fell amongst those, striking them to the ground with precision, blue beads shimmering in the sunlight. Only Hogormomo's prisoners remained, Wyrd systematically destroying them.

Far away, a messenger ran as quickly as her legs would bring her, a hawk flying high above her and calling warning if any approached.
