Sparkly dress for teen dancer -- Kathy, 18:26:45 08/10/08 Sun [3]
We got this dress new two years ago. The main colour is a bright pink (fuchsia) holographic sparkle lycra with accents in black velvet, and appliqués of black holographic square and silver / white holographic lycra. It has ruffles at the bottom of the skirt and sleeves in black edged in silver. It is a very sparkly dress with lots of added Swarovski crystals and the front neckline is edged in Swarovski crystals.
The skirt lining is a zebra print fabric. The dress comes with matching zebra print bloomers & two crowns, the original crown and a puffy headband which was made later. It also includes a bag and extra pink and holographic square fabric.
The dress is in good condition from a non-smoking home, always stored flat - a few of the black holographic squares in the kick pleats have lifted, however not visible from stage.
The dress fits a dancer who is 5'3" with 36" bust, 29" waist and 22 1/2 sleeve length. There is no more let out room, however dress has been let out 2 inches & skirt dropped 1 1/2 inches, so it can easily be taken in.

BLACK VELVET 4 PANEL CHAMPIONSHIP DRESS WITH SOFT LACE EDGE -- Mairin, 15:34:04 08/23/08 Sat [1]
This elegant one piece dress has a pointed waist, four separated panels and a soft bottom edge. The black velvet bodice and skirt has deep pink velvet panel inserts. A soft bottom edge is made of very feminine light pink lace with hundreds of glittering crystal chips. This dress was made in June 2008 by Reeldress, and worn only once for the 2008 North American Championships. The dress is generously accented with hundreds of Swarovski crystals. The dress is embroidered with a traditional knot design in deep pink and light pink. Appliqués on the four panels match the pink lace of the soft edge. The underskirt is lined with snow white satin with an all over crest design. The softly gathered cape is pink lace, backed with deep pink velvet. Matching kick pants and crystal studded headband are included.

This is a turquoise dress (not green! The picture distorts the color a bit) with the main accents being gold and pink. It is absolutely a standout first solo dress. It sparkles and twinkles, but not so much that it's overwhelming for a first dress. The underside is gold and snaps those judges eyes right to you when your daughter does that beautiful leap or kick up.
What I think is the most remarkable about this dress is the embroidery, all done by former maker Threads of Green in Ireland. All of it is extremely well done, symmetrical, and not fraying in the slightest. All the various accent colors, in my opinion, a very happy dress to match that spunky, lively dancer (despite my expression in that picture!! lol)
It also has a sparkle of luck in the inside cuff, that brought me and it's first owner plenty of good luck, trophies, and medals!
There is a bit of wear on the edges of the silk fabric on sleeves and edge of skirt which shall be reflected in the price of course. The gold netting-ish fabric (because I'm not sure how to describe it) over the blue glitterball fabric on the sleeves are in perfect shape--absolutely no tears in the pretty fabric (one of my most favorite parts of that dress!)The gold netting stuff keeps all the glitter ball in perfect shape too--absolutely none missing. It only missing two of the rhinestones. They are easily replaced, and honestly it's not noticeable, I had to look at all of them to find it.
It does have a little bit of a stain along the inside neckline (obviously not visible from the outside) but has absolutely no odor of any kind. I am the second owner of this dress, and we have always stored it flat. It can be worn with the collar, or if you prefer you can remove it quite easily.
I got this dress as my first solo dress at age 5 or 6, its actually in very good condition, with incredible workmanship and embroidery.
It comes with a headband, (non-itchy!) bloomers and of course a cape.

Sleeve (shoulder to cuff)-- 18 inches

(sleeve straight across to sleeve)--12 inches

It is 9 months old so it is a new style with the drop waist and two pieces.

Emerald green shiney material with hot pink, white sequins, silver sequins and black/silver glitterball. All trimmed in white, silver, pink and black thread. Has over 300 Green , and pink swarovski crystals on it. Underskirt is cute white with black polkadots.
No holes, or tears or rips.
Has modern style flag on the back attached with 2 rhinestone pink pins. These new ones are pretty as they create a nice flowing movement when the dancer is not facing front

Appliques silver glitterball, silver on blue glitterball, dusty rose lame and iridescent white fusion. Underskirt is white satin with iridescent organza overlay. Worn for novice through prelim levels. Original owner, dress is 18 months old in good shape, no odor, stored flat in smoke-free/pet-free home. Some wear on upper side of front skirt panel (have to be close to see it) and back underskirt has small dirt mark from dancer kicking (also not noticeable when dancing). Nice sparkle on stage. I am having a hard time finding a dress for my 17yr old DD..I dont intend on spending her college money on a new dress, but the prices of the used are astronomical these days! We want something not to out dated, but also dont want to spend an arm and leg on one that is 1 yr old...I have yet to post her 1 1/2 yr old dress but believe me I wont be looking for more than $1000 Canadian, even though it has been kept in pristine condition and was only worn maybe 15 times with dress sheilds and a crop top....
Any suggestions on where to look?

Rogha Rinceoiri Dress. This dress is only one year old and it is in great condition. It is a light lemon yellow (not highlighter yellow) with sapphire blue accents. The sleeves and shawl are also sapphire blue. It has a soft and flowy shawl. The dress is very sparkly and also has a sequin overlay. The bottom of the sleeves and the dress skirt have an accordion and feather trim. Bloomers and headband are included. The dress can be taken out up to three inches from the armpit to the waist.(one and a half inches each side and the skirt can be lowered about an inch).

This dress is nearly new having only been worn 4 times before being outgrown. It is a very up to date style.
The bodice is purple metallic silk with pink and lime embroiderey and tons of ab stones. Sleeves are pink floral embroidered sari fabric, with ab stones. The skirt is 4 panels in the pink fabric with purple and lime embroidery and also accented with many ab stones. There is a ruffle of pink opalescent organza underneath. The cape is a soft cape of the pink fabric.
The dress was made to fit a dancer with the following measurements:

Beautiful Siopa Rince solo dress with a white sequined overlay and hot pink and lime green floral design. The dress is beautiful on stage and we have received many compliments! My daughter's favorite part is the rainbow underskirt! It comes with matching bloomers and Siopa Rince headpiece with sewn on tiara, as well as a floral headpiece to match by Tillies Tiaras, 2 rhinestone hair pins in pink and green, matching pink rhinestone earrings and rhinestone number clip. The dress is in good condition with some wear on the sleeves towards the wrists and small section on skirt, however, it is not noticable from the stage due to your hands being behind you. I can and will send close up photos if needed. There is take in and let out room if needed. The dress has been well cared for and stored flat in a smoke-free home. My daughter ADORED this dress but has sadly grown out of it.
