In reply to: Isis 's message, "Arise and you shall see the dawning of the sun..." on 18:53:31 10/09/02 Wed

The colt sighs, impatient with the dragon's ignorance. "Yes, Voice. She's a golden dragoness, she was inside Terror's head. Isis? Yes, Isis. Isis and Voice are the same." He says, nodding. After a moments hesitation, he takes a step towards Tarquin. "You are lucky, Voice is a really great dragoness. I admire her."

Luck had nothing to do with anything, he wanted to argue. But staring into those eyes and hearing the voice tell of admiration, he was intimidated into stepping back even as Jesar stepped towards him. Though, he wished he could say that the reason he had stepped back was actually because of the smell of the horse; he had never been fond of that particular scent.

"Terror's head?" Who was Terror? Probably 'Terror' was a horse... Isis had been inside a horse's head? Glancing at his golden mother, he wondered if it was lucky to be the son of someone you hardly knew about. "I admire her also," he finally said. It was lame, but closer to the truth than anything else he could have said. Admiration was all his emotions amounted up to these days for Isis - ever since she came back, that is. It's hard to feel love for someone who had performed an act of dying, while you were left alone in the dark with only your grief.
