Her own ears were useless, unworking so she did not hear the youth approach her,and in her blind pain niether did she see him.She took the blow with a snarl but the blow was nothing compared to the irating whining that scream'd in her mind.
"Stupid...thing"
She spat through clenched teeth at the hatchling...apparently this is something she will have to get used to.She folded her wings over her head and thought of something eles...any thing.She thought of how she would like to rip that youths brain out...hmmm a tad better...a song perhaps?...1000 bottles of bear on the wall,1000 bottles of bear....Ahh peace at last,she sighed, carefull not to let the song slip.She glared at the liltle runt whom had hit her but did nothing...instead she slinked closer to the group of three.Sitting slightly away from them,trying to keep the song in her head,what she said was quite simple.
