An immense golden-bronze dragon with white underwings and underbelly lands. "Pardon me?" he calls. "I seek the leader of this land."

Curious of what the dragon had to say, Tarquin stepped towards him. He found it particularly interesting that the dragon knew not the leader(s).

"That would be Bob." Cordially he bowed his head marginally with respect. Then, having sat, he found that he was forced to look slightly up to watch the other's face and so forced his spine perfectly straight. "He should be around somewhere; I'm surprised he hasn't come already."

The bronze-gold nods cordially to the young drake, his acid green eyes meeting those of the youth. "I am the King of the Dark Horses," he states, and then explains further. "I acquired the power to change into a dragon for a maximum of two days every five. I thought it would be an appropriate form in which to address you and your kind."

What a magnificant being, thought Tarquin with delight as he returned the gaze evenly. A good thing he hadn't mentioned that he was supposedly the King here - that would have been embarrassing, the pure bronze drake supposed.

"I see. Ziraga, isn't it?" A good thing he tried to keep up with these things! Suddenly he wondered how in Mithro's name was he going to find Bob. A lapse of words occur for half a second in which Tarquin mentally blanks with nervousness.

Just tell him that you don't know where your brother is, darling.

"I don't know where Bob is at the moment, but hopefully he should be here soon to greet you properly." Bob, hurry! the young drake called within the recesses of his mind.

A small, slender purple drake lands silently and without ceremony, his darker amethyst eyes looking into the strangely frightening ones of the immense and magnificent bronze. He nods his head in a cordially respectful greeting. "Greetings. I am Bob, the Acting King of this land. How may I be of help?" He glances towards his younger brother (He's growing more mature by the minute!) and then returns his gaze to the truly strange stranger.

His face stone-smooth, he allows himself to be pushed out of the conversation with the arrival of his older, purple brother. Gratefully he listened Bob's words - grateful that he had come in time. His own contrasting eyes of blue are shadowed as he lowers his lids to peer thoughtfully at the King; now that he was hopefully not being observed by either adult.

What a hunk! Makes me wish I was a horse...

He is kind of cute... the voice giggles, In an impressive way...

I wonder who will get the 'prize', eh?

Listening to his personal friends, the voices, he smiled mentally to himself. Though he couldn't see exactly what they saw, he could understand the appeal Ziraga held for the ladies.

The sleek golden-bronze speaks, quickly and to the point for he knows he doesn't have much time. "Bob, hello. I am Ziraga, the present King of the Dark Horses. I have come here to propose an Alliance between our respective sides; we must work together if we are to eliminate the Lights for good." The dangerously acidic green eyes watch the young purple drake with care, falling into silence while he awaits the smaller male's response.

The purple drake watches the theatrically magnificent male with impassive, unreadable eyes. "An Alliance..." He speaks in a forthright manner, his speech plain and clear. "Yes, I can see how that would benefit you- dragons can destroy horses almost as soon as look at them." He does not say this last as a boast but as a simple statement of fact. "But I can't help but wonder... how would this benefit us?"

The slender dragoness slips up beside Tarquin, a barely audible whisper escaping a smooth, ebony maw.

Who's the hoofed one?

The immense golden-bronze dragon chuckles. "Hoofed, my dear? Not at the moment." However, his acidic eyes cloud as the magic holding him in this form fades, and he shrinks back to a stunning, sleek, stark palomino stallion. "But now I am. The hoofed one is the present King of the Dark Horses." He bows his shapely head with supreme elegance. "And who, might I ask, are you?"

Waiting a moment for her reply, he turns back to the young Acting King, having to crane his neck to even see his face. "Well, from this rather diminutive stature I must tell you that I am not a good enemy to have, Acting-King Bob. I am sure an Alliance would be mutually beneficial."

The dracling could sense the presence of an equine before it layed a puppeteering claw upon the ashen plantation. Erecting a serpetinian spine, the elloquent wytch speaks in even reprimand.

I am Wytch Hazel, born of Blood and Chocolate, sired from Raistlin, King of the Underworld. I suppose it is fit to say I am pleased to make your aquaintence.

The curtness of her words was bitter, and amber eyes scorched in a brutal finality. Eyeing King Bob, her mind searched with little avail to what the level-headed one's reply should be to the one before them all.

...and discussion.

The amethyst drake watches the small {to him} palomino equine carefully for a long moment. "I wish to consult with some of my colleagues. Please allow me a moment."

With that he turns to Tarquin and Wytch Hazel, speaking in a tone that they but not the stallion will hear, his words honest and straightforward as usual. "It is clear he wishes to use us as weapons against their Lights. But is this necessarily a bad thing? If we allied with them, in a war in which we could take no losses we would help to eliminate at least some Lights, of whatever species, thus weakening the whole Light sentiment across the board." He resists glancing at the golden horse as he contemplates the creature. "I know Ziraga is serious- I have heard about him and his murder of the old Light Horse King. It is merely a matter of whether or not we wish to become allied with the weak equines, or stand alone." The young drake knows nothing about another certain incident that took place between the Dark Horse King and a dearly beloved and departed family member; thus his thoughts are purely political.

She nods, uttering something equally inaudable back to the others.

I find a truth in your words. But we must consider both factors. If we give him an allience, it is most certain that the Evils will try in anyway to interrogate the Lights, knowing quite well that the Evil Dragons, us, shall be behind them. Although DOL is a meer light horse, she possesses great power over all the creatures of these lands. It is no doubt that the Light Dragons will not hesitate to co-enside with the Light Equines. A wear between the horses and dragons together would be a tramatic loss. I do not feel risking the lives of so many of our own for a meer equine race below us should be the smartest approach on the situation. THe equines will not be much of a help to us....therefore we have no benefit from the deal. We have our own war to worry about, and the Oddballs should be our next challenge in alliances if any. They are the only ones who could possibly add a dent in aiding us to succeed over the Lights.

After speaking her peace, the Wytch rocks back upon sleek hindquarters, awaiting approval or rejection from the two males beside her. The only female..not chauvanist on their part, but without her mother, she wishes to take on the choosing role of an independant feminine in this dominion, for now and forever. Never shall she stand below another, and the wytch silently hoped that her speech would prove a valid socratic to them.
