Subject: just a question

I do think the answer is no, but I got to ask anyway.
It is about those Diablo quests. I can`t be online in the week before the summevacation so I was wondering: "Do you have to find the item or slay the beast at bnett? or can you fo it at home playing serial 1 player (know what I mean)That way I could also try doing the quest :)
