Reflections on these months and days
Conjure thoughts of hurt and haze
It’s clear to see that you know why
Examine the evidence it shows no lie

Easily you move and breathe
Knowing my heart is not so free
If loving you is wrong to do
Then count me guilty, infinity times two

The truth be told, you love me less
If this not true, then why distress
Perhaps you never really loved
And maybe you’ve always been so smug

All the same, I love you dearly
Maybe one day you’ll see more clearly
