Subject: James Wells 1982-2006

It is with deep regret that this website reports the tragic loss of Pte James Wells of 4th Btn The Parachute Regiment, formerly of LUOTC, who was killed in a friendly fire incident last Monday while on active service in Afghanistan.

James 'Jimbo' Wells was a University of Leeds Alumnus, graduating in 2004 with Lower Second Class Honours in International Relations.

He will be remembered by family and friends alike in a service on Saturday 24th June near his family home in Cambridge. Details of the service will be made available to those who wish to attend.

Anyone who would like to share fond memories of Jimbo is invited to add them to this thread.
