Hey guys, I'm back and I couldn't be happier!! Thank you all so much for all the good wishes. What a week that was! First my brain went all "squishey", and I wasn't quite me for a while! Then after several hours in the E. R. they decided they needed to admit me. I tried telling them that my brain was simply overloaded because I'm so smart, but they weren't buying that! haha! Two days, and lots of tests later, they let me out of there! I've had four of these little TIA strokes in the last ten years but I'm still kickin'.....
Then I was only home for a day and the snow began! The power went out Thursday night and we braved it for two days. Boy, was it cold in the house! It was nearly impossible to get a hotel room but we finally got one yesterday. This poor city is a mess. It looks like a war zone with all the fallen trees and branches all over the place, not to mention over 2 feet of snow! A tree in our yard fell on Joe's beloved truck, and broke the windshield. We were at the motel and, about an hour ago, we heard that our power came back! Yahooooo
Anyway I'm home and back to normal! (stop laughing, Rich, I AM normal!!) ;o)
