I just had another call from my oldest and best friend Kippy Quicksell, and I can't tell you how much we enjoy talking together! Whenever we talk it's like shedding all these years, and we become silly kids again! I love it!Today we talked about bakeries and other old stores in our old Benkard Avenue neighborhood. We both have pretty good recall and maybe that's because we had such a fun time growing up there. We also talked about playing touch football in the middle of the road on and all the other rough and tumble things we did as kids! No wonder we have aches and pains today, huh?
Kip and I both wish that we would all be more active on this board like we used to be, (before Face Book!)
Do any of you still keep in touch with old friends you had in early childhood? If so, can't you tell us about it?
