"Is it safe to go to the bakeries in Newburgh"?

Oh, my goodness, Marie, of course it's safe. We go to Rockland Bakery, (the old Favata's), all the time. It's on Broadway just above Prospect Street. We also go to Torino's Bakery on Broadway near Fullerton Avenue. They both have great Italian bread and pastries. We don't have a good Jewish bakery anymore but both Rockland and Torino
have good hard rolls. I feel perfectly safe going anywhere on Broadway, especially above Robinson Avenue. I wouldn't WALK down on lower Broadway, but we do drive down to go to the waterfront restaurants. The waterfront is beautiful and extremely busy all the time. On Friday and Saturday nights it's really bustling down there. There are some beautiful boats docked down there when people come from up and down the river to enjoy the restaurants and spas....
