Actually, I've had a few teachers who made a difference in my life. First, my kindergarten teacher, Miss Scott, who taught me that being left-handed was nothing to be ashamed of. Then my third grade teacher, Mrs. Steegmuller, who was so kind and understanding when my mother died. My fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Butts, who scared the bejesus out of me and made me study harder! Then there was Mr. Adam Kirk, my science teacher at SJHS who made me realize that playing hookey was not an extra-curricular subject! ;o) Miss Christine Schleirmacher made me really enjoy history (even though I was terrified of her, too!)
Finally, Miss Deck, who allowed ME to teach HER how to make spaghetti sauce! Yup, you got that right....I taught HER! She was a lousy cook! ;o)
