Every summer while at NFA, I would worked at the handbag, or pocketbook(funny name when you think about it)factory, Bedford Novelty, in New Windsor and Newburgh. My dad, Frank Pisani, was the hand bag designer. I operated the "cutter", which cut the material from dies into patterns used for assembling the hand bags. I also used to cut rolls of vinyl into spools that were later used to make the straps for the hand bags. After graduating from NFA and while attending OCCC in Middletown, I pumped gas at Mickey's Flying "A" at the five corners in Vails Gate. Fun jobs and made some, not alot, of money.
