In reply to: Arlene (yes, again!) 's message, "Prom night" on 13:54:54 05/20/09 Wed

I missed my Prom because I just could never get up the nerve to ask the one girl I had set my mind on asking... In fact I never spoke more than 2 or 3 words to that girl in high school, and tortured myself for 2 years trying to get myself to say something, anything to her... Now 35 years later after being married, raising 3 great kids, getting divorced, all this time later me and this girl (now a lady of course!) sort of ran into each other on the Classmates site, and after all this time I'm still tongue-tied where she's concerned, and all these years later still torturing myself trying to get up the guts to ask her to the 35th reunion coming up. Nuts, isn't it? My friends tell me to foggettaboutit, maybe it just isn't meant to be, already!!
