Elaine Hoover Bogino has passed, and there will be a memorial service for her at St. George's Episcopal Church in Newburgh on July 11. She was one of our early 'Wackoos' from back in the days of Fred Embden's Newburgh Chat Boards. But she had been struck hard by a stroke a few years ago, went through extensive rehab, and had been living back at her old Hoover family home, in good spirits on McDowell Place in recent times. 'Sic transit gloria mundi'. May she now Rest in Peace.
