 Ah YES ! Bridge Street....I would frequent the area in the early 50s. I thought the Casbah...but then yu mnetioned The Carosuel...OK. But you brought back memories with the name..."Zanzi Bar"..or "Zanzi Spot"...
At one time a Latin-fellow from Platekill operated The Carosuel along with his lady-friend who was a singer [and a real Latin knockout]...what was her name...she headlined up in the roadhouse in Platekill to busloads from Spanish Harlem...Spilled more than a few libations along the way...
