Subject: Lincoln兄說得對,發達蹄今仗是輸在情緒不穩. 琴晚同一位身英國的朋友傾電話,他當時在york馬場內,看見此馬在paddock時大發老脾(當時個馬伕摩著馬頭試圖安撫它,讓其他人員替它調整馬備,它不肯就範更一時用頭將馬佚成個抽起來,幸好最後都無意外發生),不過當然令此駒消耗一定體力及角逐情緒受了影響. 盡管如此,robinson全程安撫著它,已控制得甚好,讓馬順著領放到最後先被頭馬趕過. 友人亦同我講,其實在另些場次亦有好些馬,發更大更大脾氣(有隻出於司徒德爵士馬房,馬名記不起,但全不受控,使練者當時非常丟臉!!). 友人解釋,這些現象主要因為很多跑的都是年長雄馬,它們思想好多根本不在跑而想去"配種"了!!
