Subject: 已出13匹runners,失望的是灰燕子及緬甸皇城俱決定避戰.戴圖理騎去年皇家雅士谷金杯得主Papineau ,個人較喜歡的廄侶紅櫻桃則未肯定會否出賽.大家熟悉的馬有求在此賽三連霸的威信,值得一提是范義龍會取Yeats 而捨一級尾的鮑華斯高,因Yeats 原是岳伯仁去年葉森打比希望,但因肌肉問題最後退出更缺陣至今年上月二日才復出,馬房對這馬仍有期望.另有兩匹自法國的挑戰者,分別是上仗根利錦標一級賽敗給緬甸皇城個半馬位跑第二(由第三升上)的Reefscape (由蘇銘倫出策),及同由高手柏兆雷策騎的Pride (在根利錦標與Reefscape同場本跑第二,但因犯規貶至第六)
