 能在澳洲一級賽跑贏最好的澳洲馬,結合本身跑姿亦上乘,所以勁將軍確是上駟,但現時狀態非大勇,也不排除是低估了主理人耐性.
朋友們對此馬的另一個談論熱點是會否是真正長途馬,愚見雖牠贏那場澳洲一級賽是2400米,但澳洲向來長途賽不多且看此馬馬身十分粗壯,如向長途發展足部未必負荷得來,所以常見牠翻步慢致均速,應是受制於此,如單以身型及性能,這馬應跑1800米最好,當然香港一如澳洲,高班長途賽(2400米)一季總數一隻手的手指已能全部數到,所以勁將軍將來也可能借卡士贏到此程,但一季只跑三幾場2400米不代表是真正長途馬.
上段已證明香港是如何不重視長途,今年打比便甚多只是一哩馬,還有一點是韋達昨天騎勁將軍並無跑錯,因此馬步大均速,如混在內檔馬群內會影響展步,同時較快步速對牠亦有幫助,昨天鬥加速的步速對牠吃虧,所以直路騎來無甚反應也可理解.

其實小弟也有一種想法,勁將軍會不會是一隻早熟形馬匹呢?查其血統Grand Lodge子嗣大部份皆可以在2,3歲交出好成績,而且同時也有甚佳長力,而無巧不成話,打比戰中的"閃電"也只是交出第八之成績,查此馬最後三場成績,1600G1輸比星球爭霸得第二,2000G1得第二,第三名正是戴花,1600G1再跑第三,而第二名則是百萬大軍,閃電這身賽績其實也不比勁將軍弱......是否更加確立Grand Lodge此血系到四歲不會有多大進步呢??尤其是澳洲之Grand Lodge子嗣,香港的聰明武士也是三歲大發神威~莫問
