Just a quick little note...

This is in no way meant as a criticism of anyone's style... but I just have a few ideas to throw out there that someone might have some use for.

It strikes me that the rhyme scheme A, A, B, B -seems- a little... belabored. Other professors have often remarked that the lines flow more smoothly if the scheme is A, B, A, B. Rhyming is not the important detail in poetry... that is unquestionable. Expression is. What makes "The Red Wheelbarrel" good and others buy... doh... what's his face... that 60's poet... not as good?

Personally speaking (in other words, this is just what I find)... I enjoy the ABABC DEDEC... it provides a sort of link between the stanzas.

Most of all... it's got to come from the heart. From what I read of the poems here... that shouldn't be a problem for any of you. ;)

Oh, reminds me... I've been away a bit... but I'm back in town now.

Regards All,

Wulf
