Subject: Reynolds, Askins, Norwood Fam. Brierly Hill

I am trying to study the John Reynolds family,the William Askins family, and Samuel Norwood family of Brierly Hill/Kingswinford in the 1840 to 1880 period. Coal Miners ++.
Reynolds moved to Rowley Regis in 1860s but in 1861 was at 206 Chapel St. Brierly Hill. Problem is, I do not know much about using British geneological tools and records. Would like to complete genealogies of these 3 families both earlier and later down to the present (Reynolds migrated to USA in 1870s, I have his descent). Where is Chapel St, I found an 1890 map of Brierly Hill online. Anyone willing to help me understand what to do next? Reynolds and wife Charlotte Jones born in Shropshire Cleobury Mortimer and Hopton (Wafers?).

My ancestors came from Cradley Heath. I can go back as far as Willkinson Burley, my great great grandfather, born 1822 in Cradley Heath, married to Priscilla ? born 1822. They had 7 children - Willkinson Burley, William Burley, Rosannah Burley, John Burley, Priscilla Burley, Alice Burley and Clara Burley. I'd love to go back further.
