Subject: Sour Grapes?

First off, I want to congratulate all the squads from NE Arkansas for their outstanding performances this last weekend at State Competition.

Second, I noticed the IP address from the person who posted the message about one of the judges choerographing our routines. Its from the conway area, so it seems to me that someone from that area is upset that the unbeatable squad, which is CAC, was beaten. I also noticed its anonymous. So when you post again, please attach a name so you can justify your points and who you are.

Third, I'll call to attention CAC's competition. The ACC Staff was made aware that a judge on the panel had RECENTLY worked with a competitor on their routines. (recently as in within the 2 weeks prior) We did not make note or mention of this in order to not cause a scene or to raise questions of integrity. We took the high road and decided to let the competition run without problems. We left it at that and moved on. We expected the same consideration and action from those involved at state.

Fourth, one of the judges did in fact help us with choerography at the beginning of the season (September). Consider everyone's routines and note to yourself that the dynamic of a routine changes every week and the routine itself is a far shell of its original design. Two or our squads recieved assistance. I could note that many gyms use outside choreography (in fact CU used Rock Solid at the beginning of the season, but there are few areas in those routines that are the same as when designed.) All routines evolve from day to day, week to week. The routines are no longer similar nor do they carry the same dance, tumble, stunt or musical content. Take it for what it's worth.

The fact that someone outside of NEArkansas is trying reduce the success of our program because of a loss in a comeptition only teaches the children of that program that when you lose, try to find as many excuses as you can to justify your postition. I know this is coming from ONE person within a Cheer community and not the community itself. ACC holds in HIGH regard CAC and its staff and programing. The fact that this recent post calls into question everything that ACC is about and will continue to be about is cause for response from myself and others involved. We built our program on integrity and will always be so.

Before anyone posts concerning this thread, please consider whom you are targeting and be aware that there are children and parents that you are hurting and attacking unprovoked
through your actions. Our kids earned every right to be called State Champs. They worked hard, they endured losses, and they endured critisism. If anyone wants to discuss anything in this post, call me personally. If you can't do that, then keep yourself out of our business.

Thank you
James Martin, Owner ACC
