Subject: CAC Mom speaks out!!!

I was appalled when I read the message posted by one of our kids. Just please keep in mind that sometimes kids (even good kids) say and do things that make us cringe. We have no hard feelings towards ACC. In fact we have had a friendship with them since they opened since one of my best friends happens to be the program director there. While we may not have agreed with the judges opinions we realize that judges have different preferences and on that day they like ACC better. ACC looked good on Saturday. They have come such a long way in such a short time and I congratulate them for that. Please understand that sometimes kids just act immaturely- you know- they act like kids! I would really like to put all of this behind us and hope that you will not judge our kids based on one apple. I wish both gyms the best of luck in Biloxi wish we were going but Vilonia's prom is that weekend and we had to cancel. Just one more thought- My oldest daughter is in the 8th grade- On Sunday, we found out one of her friends had committed suicide. To me that shows just how trivial the problems we think we have are. Kind of puts life in perspective, huh?
