Subject: Financial Aid

Well Nick like you predicted I would have problems getting the financial aid needed for the Academy. (For those of you who don't know I was planning on attending the academy of art in san francisco this summer (online) ) . Basically they are requiring me to pay half of the fall/spring semester. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. So Doug and I are doing some major research (and told the academy to kiss off for now) and trying to find out what I can do in the meantime as far as educational goals. I think once we get in Vermont I am going to take some fine art courses at CCV for the meantime and then transfer those credits to a PUBLIC school that has an animation major. I guess I will just have to get my associates in fine art for the mean time. And possibly after that I will just take some MAYA /StudioMax courses to up my resume so that I can get into a studio or game co.
Anyhoo. I am pretty upset with the counselors at AAU because they led me to believe that my financial contribution would be nill and it ended up being more than half of the tuition and that was not including supplies (which Nick you KNOW are way overpriced).
So that is my rant of the day. I need to blow off some steam so when Doug walks in that door I'm going for my daily 2 mile run, and I may just do it twice lol.

Luv ya all!

Kel
