The whole intention behind cutting off my description there is to leave the reader wanting more. When one is left satisfied but not full, they yearn for one more frame, one more detail about the way my nipple came to life with her tongue's caress, or how unbearable it was when her fingernails tickled the sensitive skin of my stomach as I lay on my bed, immobile. One more visual or scent memory about how skillfully she traversed my body's threshold between pleasure and pain.

If we are given details bit by bit and then cut off seemingly too early, we are left with scinerios in our mind whose ends we must begin to anticipate and imagine on our own. We are allowed the freedom to conjure possibilities as we anxiously await more intimate details from the elusive story teller. Were we to be handed all of the information in one, neatly prested package, we would quickly injest and then forget it. However, a story which leaves itself open to a sequel entreats us to linger, hoping for more. As a writer, I do what I can to keep an interested and eager audience.

That, and I just had surgery and am on high doses of liquid codine...

Hard Candy & Bottle Rockets,
Jessie
