Last night talking to you i got to have the experience i have always dreamed of having with a friend. Someone who understands completely, who i trust totally, who i doubt not one inkling, who gives fully expecting nothing in return getting that the giving is the getting, who is basically inside me with me next to me waking up to what is possible for us, and to what simply is. You are a third leg when i cant stand up straight. What a dream come true, that you are over there a few miles North of me working the same program, in the same community, giving up the same habit, experiencing the same agony in the giving it up and the same miracles on the other side. Here with me in abstinence and exploring doing. Even having the same thoughts about being violated during a date, wanting to empty out after being so full, making it into a story about this or that or making someone else wrong, realizing the truth, taking responsibility and not eating no matter what. Mer, i love you. You abstinence is a notch in my lifeline. Heres to now and here's to whatever lies ahead as we walk these weighed and measured stepping stones through a beautiful world.
