Tonight Susan (my daughter's mom) told me WHY she was mad at me.

I felt like the luckiest man alive!!! To be actually told, out loud, in terms even a guy could understand!

I had a tough day working. I woke up to many emails asking about my friend Eric. Replying to them felt like a 'job,' and I took a lot of my morning time to handle them. I got ready for a client call at the last minute, and was not stellar, but I think we sold a good and large piece of work.

My daughter Lucy and I are so back in the groove, now that i'm 10 days back from my two-week business trip. that's a long time for us to be separated and tonight she wanted to hold me hand the whole time as we walked around the neighborhood. She sat on my folded arms with her legs around my waist when I got over to her house, nose to nose, loving her daddy. That's about as good as it gets.

I imagined a fun assignment for me tonight. Go to a social place (bar, cafe). Flirt, but with a commitment to not asking for numbers or trying to get a date. Just flirt. Just practice and enjoy it, without looking for that something in return.

I went to the Grove on Fillmore around 10:30pm, and saw a very pretty girl working away on her laptop. I didn't speak to her.
