Have you ever read any Sylvia Plath or Anne Sexton?
Anyway, Alan Watts once said something to the effect that we all yearn to be prey, we all ache to feel that familiar molecular sensation of being safe and warm in the belly of our predator.
Its just that there are few capable predators nowadays and even fewer surrendered prey. It gets boring and bloody if both participants aren't expert at their role.
