Subject: a strange dream

I dreamed there were empty box planters on the side of stoops along a street. I planted seeds in them and watered them. One by i delighted in watching the seeds immediately spring up and blossom. The last two, however, would not sprout. In one the earth was too polluted, in the other it was like dry silt. I was devastated. I figure the planters and earth are specific people. The seeds and plants im not sure, but they are a good thing. The water is caring and nurturing i think. Any ideas? I wish i knew who each planter was, especialy the last two. Im afraid i have failed them.
