There was this old fellow called Bill who used to go to a dance club called the "BARbarian" in Rapid City South Dakota around 1980... 80 years old... wore a black suit and tie with a high collared white shirt. Wore fine, brown leather brogued oxfords. Even sported a derby. He came to dance with the girls. They used to slither up and down the old fart in the middle of the dance floor. He probably popped a load in his pants a few times because of it if he was still capable. It's a small matter, however dubious I was.

It was his eyes. Or a lack of them. He wore these heavy black frame glasses with lenses that had to be a half inch thick. When he was being molested by the young things, he would be shuffling around and looking up at the colored lights and strobe. I was fascinated with the reflections in his spectacles and how the images mirrored changed with the bobbing of his head. Diane Arbus missed this one.

It was the center of the world to him. Hmmmmmm...

Anyway, as the say goes... a rolling stone...
