Well I'll you myself: My son has been recovering very well. He has been out of the wheelchair for some time now and has even snowboarded a few times. However, his injuries were very extensive, and there are a few more repairers to be made, such as his lungs and damages done due to vocal cords from a prolonged tracheal tub.
To look at him one could never tell what this young man has been through, and perhaps this is a good thing. Today is he is still living at home with us. I do a fairly large amount of traveling, however, no matter where I am at, including being out of the country we make a point of contacting each other at least once a day.
