Also in this world there are abyssal voids that very few would ever dare imagine and most are better ignorant of. Negative space where strange things may sleep, or where there may be nothing at all. In this world we have inherited and pass on to our young with beaming faces, we must be cautious. Here there be monsters. But all is not lost. Rare moments break through like stars on the bleakest moonless night. Some have found there hands to claw thier from the depths, rent in shreds, but unconsumed. Only to thrust thier arms back into the blackness to take hold of hands that may be slipping. Mine is there. I cannot save others. Perhaps though, a hand in the darkness is all they need to save themselves. As the number grows, the void begins to tremble.
