The last time I was in a hammock bed, I spun around like a cat on too much catnip. Perhaps it was the bed, perhaps it was what I was drinking at the time.
Or maybe it was what I was smoking at the time.
Or maybe it was the moron who made his way up to my loft. After deciding he was going to creep in my little lair.
This was a New York City (very large flat) from the main flat with a set of stairs going into my loft.
We were having a rip roaring party when I decided I was going to bid ado and sleep off a serious buzz. While the party was carrying on, some little shit decided to follow me.
What happened next folks, well.... Let's just say it wasn't pretty.
As I climbed onto the swing bed, I could feel the room spin. Suddenly like some giant cockroach this puke jumps on the bed. Not realizing the bed was suspended from the ceiling it began to swing. I leaped off from the side and began swinging the sob back and forth, until he told me he was going to throw up ON MY BED!!!
Fuck that! I pushed him harder until he took a rather amazing leap off the bed, pass the railing and down towards the crowd.
To this day, I still remember my reaction which was: "Wow dude, sucks to be you."
Needless to say the party folks didn't really care for what happened and they cared less for him after they found out what he tried to pull. I heard he ended up in the hospital with a broken arm and various other injuries.
After that one I had no problems sleeping on the bed. You might say, I slept like the dead.
