Austin's Ear !!!!

hello all, i took Austin to ear dr this morning (Christmas he was in pain ans complaing he couldnt hear well) Found out that Left ear (which on Dec 10 had lost alot of hearing in) is same now as then, Right Ear (surgery in July 04 to patch using muscle) graph is healing but has lost alot of hearing since Dec 10 ,his dr always checks his tonsils ( adnoids gone but still have tonsils), normaly the glands on neck are infalmed so he will be having them removed and tubes put back in on Jan 19,2005 (Wed-Outpatient)he ahs lot of fluid which affects hearing so tubes will allow drainage. this is temporary fix and we know this but have to do something to help his hearing at this point until he is old enough for the other surgery (age 15-16). He will be out of school for 1 wk with this but out of sports for 2 wks. he will be able to play 1st basketball game but sadly will miss the next 2 then aslong as all is well he will return. Dr did say that when this stops working he will atleast have to get on hearing aid possibly 2 . please keep Austin & all his ordeals in your prayers, i greatly apperictae it. Love You All
