A black cat with narrowed green-yellow eyes stalks into the room. She glances around at the few sparrers. Besides the clashing of swords and yelps from hurt creatures, the room in silent. The cat has large pointed ears and long feet. She wears a greenish shirt and brown pants held by a black belt, with a dagger thrust through the belt. The long spear in her paws swings slightly. Instead of a spearhead, a long blade is at the end. Staring at the few other creatures lounging around, she snaps, "I dare someone to come and fight me!"

Out of the corner of her eye, Jeliah notices the move and tries to dodge. She springs backwards, but the slash rips her tunic's shoulder strap. By the time Star jabs at her, she is far enough away and Star misses. Jeliah grabs her dagger, crouches low, and springs for Star, trying to stab him in the shoulder. when dagger cuts though the fur on stars shoulder, he leaps backwards, grabs his bow, fits an arrow to the bow, and takes aim starblade 14:24:42 07/06/04 Tue

suddenly Jeliah was in a fix. If Star released the arrow, she couldn't dodge it, and he hadn't fired either. There was only one way to do it. Leaping forward rashly, she took a sharp swing with her spear blade at Star's bow, hoping either to mutilate it beyond use or at least stop Star from firing. (NT) Jeliah 18:18:41 07/06/04 Tue

The end hits Jeliah hard on the ankle, causing her to yelp and jump back in pain. She draws her dagger and throws it quickly at Star, hoping it hits him as she didn't aim carefully. Jeliah 14:59:41 07/07/04 Wed

Since Jeliah isn't very far away, the arrow either had to miss her or hit her. It missed her and oh was Jeliah glad. As Star notched another arrow, she scooted past him, picked up her dagger, and tried to stab him. (NT) Jeliah 04:54:39 07/08/04 Thu

Jeliah yelped angrily as the staff hit her hip. Fortunatly, it didn't hit her straight on - it would have cracked her hip, but veered off after giving her hip a hard knock. She drops the dagger, previously held in her left paw, and backs away, gripping her side.
