Sorry I haven't been around much lately. One of my old bosses said I couldn't walk and chew gum(my buddy Mr. Wallace). I guess he was right. On June 17 while coming down the stairs at 811 Main St. I fell and caught my arm between the rail and the wall. There had been contractors there drilling through the floor and concrete dust was all over the floor. My right shoulder already had a torn rotator cuff but this fall tore all the muscles, tendons, and cartilage. I had surgery on 26 July.
The benefits people and workman's comp have been up to their usual standard of excellence. I have received an average of $60/week since June. We have savings and telco so we're not hurting too bad plus Margie is working at the GO Mart for Natchez' Best BarBeQue and that helps.
I will get my money. I'll probably have to get an attorney. I don't know what the company does not understand. I fell on the job. A joint Bellsouth CWA investigation was held and I was assigned no fault. I have been off work for almost 3 months and no one wants to pay me. I guess I'll just have to make one call. That's all.
