I finally got back home in 2000 after being surplused to Mayberry for 14 years. People who haven't had to leave take Natchez for granted sometimes I think. I've lived in several places and I call Natchez home. Now everyone is having to leave Natchez because of jobs. There is no reason for kids to come back after college or the military. The jobs are gone and I haven't seen anyone trying to do anything about it. I can't see where Philip West has done anything for Natchez and Sue Stedman has been an alderwoman for several years and has done nothing and who the hell is Branyan? If someone doesn't get off it there won't be a Natchez in a few years. The insurance and taxes on my house increased $40/month in January. The few people in Natchez who work cannot keep the city going. An election was bought for F L Hank because people didn't like Butch. Hank hasn't done squat. Now we have a decision to make between 3 egos who also haven't done diddly for Natchez and probably won't. Will someone get on here and tell me who I should vote for out of these 3 losers?
