Hi Rhonda......I know what you mean. There is a huge letdown after the holidays are over. We don't go out on New Years Eve (amateur drunk driving night). We used to sit up and watch Dick Clark, and the ball go down, but we both are usually in bed by 9. I have to work tomorrow...so I won't stay up.

This year...I didn't put up a tree. It has been such a horrific year for me mentally that I just didn't want to do a tree or Christmas for that fact. Being estranged from my parents since Thanksgiving, changed everything for me. We had to come up with new traditions. I did manage to have a good christmas though...I got involved with the church, did "random acts of kindness" wherever I could, and we spent the little money we had on gifts without using the credit cards. Midnight mass was my Christmas.

I feel let down too.....but I think it is just because I have worked the last 5 days, and I am all jacked up about my lawsuit. These feelings will pass....and we hopefully will all have a better year next year. I say that every year, but 2006 has to rank as the worst year of my life.
