Good for you sweetheart!!!!!!! I believe Save the Children is a good organization. Many of these organizations have very little overhead, so the money actually goes to the children. Know though.....your money goes into the general fund, and how they disperse those funds is up to them.

I did a random act of kindness yesterday. I was meeting Sarah at the university, and I was waiting at the light to turn onto university drive. There was a woman there at the corner, with her shopping cart full of garbage bags, and wearing probably most of the clothing she owned. She just stood there...didn't bother the cars as they waited at the light. She may not have even been begging....waiting to cross the road I don't know. But I pulled out a $20, rolled down my window and said "Merry Christmas". She smiled, didn't have any teeth but was well groomed, and she said "God Bless You". Two seconds later, Mercy Me's song "I can only imagine" came on the radio. God was thanking me for what I had just done. Most people don't give money directly to the homeless...but for some reason, I had to do that. I told her to buy some food, and whether she does is none of my business. That is what my Christmas is going to be about this year....giving to others, and helping the Church.

Good for you.......

Love, Mikki
